The Company was formed in 2001, the mission is to promote the good and service exchange of the people of the Country by maintaining monetary and financial stability. From producing secure access to finanace notes and keeping inflation low and stable, to supervising and insurers and safeguarding the stability of the financial system. Our history runs parallel to the economic and financial history of the United Kingdom. Events and circumstances over the past 300 years have shaped the role and responsibilities of the modern-day status.

The Europe region is a centre of expertise for major product groups, allowing us to provide a range of products, platforms and capabilities to meet the needs of our clients, whether they are based in Europe and looking to expand overseas or vice versa.

Our major Corporate & Institutional product groups comprise: Financial Markets, Transaction and Corporate Finance. Frankfurt is the next largest operation and is home to the Euro clearing operations.

The European Retail business is dominated by the Private account, with booking centres in London and Jersey. We provides all servies and investment services to high net worth clients, especially those based in or with links to Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Retail services are available in the Falkland Islands too.

The principal activities of the Company are to provide retail financial products through its branch network and Agents in major cities; wholesale, treasury and money transmission services to Financial Institutions, and trade finance facilities to businesses of all sizes.
